Koponen Olavi Koponen, arkkitehti /architect SAFA Ratkaisun peruslähtökohtia on ollut useita: Ajatus ihmisen läsnäolon rajallisuudesta ikuisessa luonnossa. Ihminen muukalaisena merkitsee itselleen reviirin, rakentaa katon päänsä päälle, alkukantaisen majan vartio- ja rukouspaikakseen. Tuo reviiri on ihmisen alue villissä luonnossa. Siellä suomalainen on etsinyt itseään ja jumaliaan. Ajatus luonnon ja rakennuksen (ihmisen) rajan häivyttämisestä rakeisuuden ja avoimuuden avulla. Tilaohjelma on jaettu yksityisiin ja yhteisiin tiloihin, jotka toimivat myös omina rakennusyksiköinään. Kullekin tilalle on annettu oma identiteettinsä tunnelman, valaistuksen ja luontoyhteyden suhteen. Rakenne on yksinkertainen. Rakennuksessa on monta rytmiä ja ne ovat vapaita. Rakenteellinen idea mahdollistaa rakennustöiden tekemisen heti alun jälkeen katon alla. Ote artikkelista s. 54-59, ark 1/2001 The farm is located on the western point of the island. The concept was based on: The idea of a primitive shelter as a place of prayer and a guard-post in wild nature. Finns have always gone to nature to find themselves and their god. The idea of eliminating the boundary between nature and the building with the aid of granularity and transparency. The accommodation schedule was split into private and public areas, which also form separate building units. These have their own identity, in terms of atmosphere. The building is simple.
