Open Call – Architecture after the COVID-19? (Deadline 18 June 2020)

Issue no.4 of the Finnish Architectural Review comes out in early fall 2020. With the issue’s theme “Empathy” in mind, we are looking for short form contributions related to the coronavirus pandemic and its varied impacts. We are especially interested in topics related to architecture, environment, public space, design, living and working at home, but we welcome also commentaries on society, everyday life and wellbeing at large. The proposed idea can be either text, images or illustrations.

Send in your ideas by email by 18 June 2020 at State your idea with few lines of text, explaining your intended approach.

We will select around 5 proposals and develop them together with the contributors for the printed issue. Chosen contributors will also receive a fee.

We will contact the chosen contributors by 24 June 2020. The final material is due on 31 July 2020.
