Good Content Doesn’t Justify A Clumsy Appearance
Architecture is a form of visual communication, where there is no place for “pizzahutism”.

I saw a photo on the internet of a new school that is about to be completed. The building had a somewhat funny-looking, Pizza-Hut-esque hat of a roof – you know, the kind that starts with a gradual slope at the eaves but then changes angle and steepens to an almost vertical line towards the top. I thought to myself, do we really need to tell today’s children that school is like a pizzeria in order for them to like it?
