Pauli E. Blomstedt's design for a new Kansanteatteri theatre building at Helsinki’s Hakaniemi Market Square was never built. The exhibition at the Musum of Finnish Architecture brings the forgotten theatre plans out from the archives and draws parallels to the present.
The renovation, infill and renewal of suburban neighbourhoods built during the 1960s and 1970s is a burning issue across Europe. The three examples demonstrate the ways in which this problem has been addressed in Sweden and Denmark.
