Kalasatama Electricity Substation is a central part of the electrical network of Helsinki, providing electricity to approximately 20,000 people in the Kalasatama, Kulosaari, and Suvilahti districts. The aim was also to create an inviting space for the citizens – by surrounding the substation with a metal wall designed for graffiti art.
