Assemble is a multi-disciplinary architecture collective that centres collaborative and cooperative methodologies, predicated on the ability to make things ourselves. Originally, when we began working together ten years ago, there was a romantic nostalgia behind our interest in making things collectively. We believed in the ability of craftwork to evince pleasure for the maker, producing a joy that could be immaterially read in material objects.
