What remains of the Oulu School?

The architecture of the Oulu School has been both loved and disparaged. The buildings are now due for refurbishment, and many risk demolition.

WHEN ANNI VARTOLA, Senior University Lecturer of architectural theory at Aalto University, began her architectural studies at Helsinki University of Technology in Otaniemi in 1984 the Oulu School was having its golden age.
